Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Introduction

Welcome to All Things Hookah – Puff & Pass ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website at allthingshookah.co.za, using our booking app, or renting a hookah from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

All Things Hookah – Puff & Pass is an independent hookah rental service operating in partnership with MacNose Shortleft Cafe. We are registered in South Africa and comply with all applicable laws including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

2. Our Services & Pricing

We offer premium hookah rental services at MacNose Shortleft Cafe. Our services include:

  • Hookah Rentals – Rent a premium hookah for use inside MacNose Shortleft Cafe. Sessions range from 1 to 3 hours.
  • Shisha Flavours – Over 20 premium shisha flavours from leading brands including Al-Fakher, Starbuzz, Fumari, and house blends.
  • Coal & Accessories – Premium coconut coals, quick-light coals, aluminium foil, and other hookah accessories available for off-premises consumption only.

Current Pricing:

  • Egyptian Hookah: R250 per session
  • Premium Hookah: R400 per session (includes coconut coal, refill: R200)
  • Coal: From R30
  • Coconut Coal: From R50
  • Aluminium Foil: From R15
  • Shisha Flavours: From R80

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Pricing is subject to change at our discretion, but the price quoted at the time of booking will be honoured.

3. Booking & Payment

Bookings can be made online through our app at allthingshookah.co.za/app.html or directly at MacNose Shortleft Cafe.

  • Full payment is required at the time of online booking.
  • Payments are processed securely via PayFast (South Africa's leading payment gateway).
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other payment methods supported by PayFast.
  • Walk-in rentals are subject to availability and may be paid at the venue.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation before arrival: Full refund, minus a 10% processing fee.
  • No-show: No refund for customers who do not arrive for their booked session.
  • Early departure: If you leave before your session time expires, no partial refund will be given.
  • Service issues: If you experience a problem with your hookah or flavour, please inform our staff immediately and we will make it right or offer a replacement session.

Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days back to the original payment method.

5. Shipping / Delivery Policy

All Things Hookah – Puff & Pass offers delivery for off-premises consumption within our service area. Delivery is available for coal, accessories, and other products purchased for takeaway use.

For on-site rentals at MacNose Shortleft Cafe, customers enjoy their hookah at their designated table within the cafe. For off-premises delivery, please place your order through our app or inquire at the cafe for available delivery options and areas. Delivery fees may apply.

6. Age Restriction

By using our services, you confirm that you are 18 years or older. Hookah/shisha tobacco products are intended for adults only. We reserve the right to request valid ID and refuse service to any person unable to prove they are of legal age.

7. Conduct & Responsibility

  • All hookahs remain the property of All Things Hookah – Puff & Pass and must be returned in the same condition as rented.
  • Customers are responsible for any damage or loss to the hookah equipment during their session. A damage fee may be charged.
  • Please be respectful of MacNose Shortleft Cafe's premises, staff, and other patrons.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone behaving inappropriately, under the influence, or in violation of cafe policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

All Things Hookah – Puff & Pass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific session giving rise to the claim.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with POPIA.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
